Deutsches Museum

Sunday before leaving Munich we visited the Deutsches Museum. This museum is similar in size & scope to the Smithsonian in Washington, DC. The building itself was designed by Albert Speer, who later became the architect for the 3rd Reich.

The exhibits showed 250 years of technological advances in Germany.

Here are some examples of electrial generators, time measurement, and early food technology.

As a bonus we were able to view, from the museum the skyline of Munich in one direction and in the other direction the German Alps.

Sehr Schön!
